Back-to-School Essentials feat. JORD Watches + GIVEAWAY

4:05 AM

Today I'm sharing with you all some of my favorite back-to-school essentials! Most of the products I mention don't have to be for just school; they're great for work as well. I've just been reaching for these products more recently since the school year had just kicked off for me (yay, senior year!). Also, stick till the end for a giveaway!

  • Tote | My bag of choice is often a tote. A tote is more convenient and versatile for me especially if I'm hanging out with friends after school or running some errands. I tend to switch between my thrifted Céline Horizontal Cabas and the Longchamp Le Pilage Tote. My favorite Le Pilage is the Neo version because the nylon is more durable (a plus when you're stuck in the rain) and also the leather matches the nylon (which means I get my black-on-black option!).
  • Makeup | When I'm running super late, my go-to makeup products are tinted moisturizer, eyeliner, and mascara. These products are usually good enough to make me look awake and put together. Although, contouring is my favorite part so throw that step in if you can!
  • iPad | If I know I'm not going to be doing any homework at school then I usually just bring my iPad. With my iPad, I can still surf the web, reply to emails, etc. Working on the iPad is also a great way to conserve battery on your phone if you plan on doing those same tasks on your phone.
  • Planner | I still like to write down my to-dos. Personally, I just don't find the Notes or Reminders app on the iPhone useful enough. There's also so many cute planners nowadays that it makes me want to use it and they make great flatlays!
  • Sneakers | A pair of sneakers are always on the list for back-to-school. From athletic sneakers to trendy sneakers, you can still stay fashionable while being comfy. Sneakers are a must especially if you're a commuter or if your classes are far apart.
  • Card case | I never carry my wallet to school because then I'll have one less thing to worry about. A card case is enough to fit what I need throughout the day: my ID card, bus card, and a credit card. I also prefer card cases to have a keyring so that I can hook it to a lanyard or the inside of my bag for extra security. My favorite for the past three years has been the Louis Vuitton Key Pouch
  • Watch | A watch is a must for me especially at school just so I know how much time is left before class ends (lol, just kidding!). A watch is extremely useful when you need to check the time if a clock isn't visible or if you're in a setting where you can't pull out your phone. JORD Watches was kind enough to send me one of their classic pieces so I've been rocking my Frankie. The craftsmanship on these wood watches are amazing as well as the packaging details. Additionally, every piece is unique because they are made from natural woods.

I've teamed up with JORD to do a giveaway–all you have to do is enter here. All entrants will automatically receive a $20 voucher and the winner will receive a $75 voucher. JORD Watches offer both men's and women's watches so a JORD watch can make a great gift. The holidays are slowly creeping up on us so this is the perfect time to start planning!
