REVIEW: Proenza Schouler PS11 in Black

Sharing my thoughts on my PS11 after using it for about a month.

This post will be shorter than my usual review posts because I already have most of the information in the other Proenza Schouler post when I first made my purchase.

The PS11 has literally been my go-to bag; I have not stored it in its dust bag ever since I've been using it. The bag is more narrow than most of my cross body bags but it fits all my essentials. I usually just carry my wallet, a pair of sunglasses (depending on weather), and a lip product. With these three items, I still have extra room to carry a charger and a coin purse (or items similar in size). Additionally, the PS11 is very versatile. With the mixed hardware and its structured look, the bag can be paired with casual and dressy outfits.

What's in my bag: YSL Volupté Sheer Candy, Céline sunglasses, and Balenziaga wallet

The PS11 can be worn three different ways: on shoulder, cross body, or as a clutch (straps are detachable). Also, there are a few compartments: an interior zipper pouch, an exterior zipper pouch (backside), and a pouch in the front (accessible from undoing the buckle).

I made my purchase through Net-a-Porter because of my leather preference. The PS11 is also available on its website and on Barneys New York. The most common color I have seen available online is Black but I have seen Instagram pictures of other colors and exotic skins in stores at various locations. Yoogi's Closet currently has an older version in a "like new" condition for $1,495.

Overall, I highly recommend the PS11 - a very functional everyday bag. There is no fuss in accessing the main compartment and the magnetic closure is very sturdy so things wouldn't easily fall out. The price tag is reasonable for its intricate design, quality, and brand.
