Today's post features my current go-to ensemble–a rocker chic look:

This whole month has been hectic due to last minute projects and finals. With that being said, my go-to outfit has pretty much been a t-shirt and a pair of comfortable jeans–two simple pieces that I can easily throw on and still look somewhat presentable. Inspired by the revival of old school trends, I've been tucking my shirt in a pair of high-waisted, slouchy jeans (aka mom jeans) and throwing on a jacket.

In this look, I'm wearing a Dsquared2 top that my dad found at Nordstrom Rack for only $48! I love how the 'Dsquared2' logo is a twist on Iron Maiden's logo, giving the top that band t-shirt look. I'm also wearing one of my favorite pair of jeans from Zara that I scored on sale a couple months ago for only $20. Not only are these jeans super comfortable but they also have the raw/unfinished hem, which I've been digging a lot lately. To make this outfit a bit more chic, I wore a Chanel bag and Acne Studios boots. Of course I had to complete this look with my all-time favorite leather jacket that has all the right details!

PS My first time doing the half-bun hairdo and I think I totally nailed it.
