I can't believe the first month of 2016 has already gone by!
I thought it would be fun to start sharing my monthly favorites on the blog and hopefully be able to recommend some cool new stuff, especially makeup products.
Here are my January 2016 favorites:
- Givenchy 'Croc-Embossed' Small Pandora

- NARS 'Pure Radiat' Tinted Moisturizer
- Can't believe it took me this long to try out this tinted moisturizer! This tinted moisturizer provides a bit more coverage compared to the Laura Mercier one. The consistency is thicker and creamier, which works better for my oily skin. Other tinted moisturizers are more runny and usually leaves my skin feeling greasy, too.
- Bumble & Bumble 'Prêt-à-Powder'
- Hands down one of the best dry shampoos! My 2-day hair looked fresh and voluminous throughout the day.
- Kevyn Aucoin 'The Sculpting Powder'
- The Becca Lowlight/Highlight powder is still my favorite, but I noticed the shade was a bit too dark for the wintertime. This powder is extremely pigmented and offers a lighter, ashy contour shade.
- Kat Von D 'Tattoo Liner'
- Extremely pigmented and did not have to fill in the liner (to make the liner darker) as much as I needed to with the Stila 'Stay All Day'.
- Apple Watch Sport in 38mm
- I was hoping to get the Hermés version sometime in the future but Target was doing a promotion so the Sport version was on sale for $250. Instead of spending $1,500 just to have a Hermés leather strap and Hermés dial face, I settled for the Sport version.
- Acne Studios 'TurnUp' in Dusty Pink
- Stumbled across these at Totokaelo on sale for $225 and with my size still available... obviously, I couldn't pass up on the luck!
